Sarah Elliott, licensed acupuncturist in twin cities

Sarah Elliott, L.Ac.

Owner and Licensed Acupuncturist

Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to learn a little bit more about me.

Writing a bio is always a little weird, isn’t it? Down below you’ll find all the official, professional stuff — but if you’re wondering who the person is that’s going to be putting needles in you, here are a few fun facts:

  • I genuinely love meeting new people and making real connections. Let’s just say, I’m rarely short on conversation topics.

  • Before I became an acupuncturist, I spent over 15 years working as a bartender. Ask me how to make just about any cocktail — my specialties were Manhattans and Chocolate Martinis.

  • I’m originally from New York State, and while I don’t plan on moving back, that East Coast energy is definitely still in my DNA (let’s just say I’ve never been accused of being passive-aggressive).

  • Piggy backing off of being a bartender and from the East Coast – I do have a bit of a sailor’s mouth. Chances of you hearing a few cuss words are pretty high but I do try to control myself on our first meeting :)
  • My husband, Paul, and I have an nine-year-old daughter named Nora, who’s the absolute sweetest and keeps life full of laughter and love.

Education and Specialties:

I am a Licensed Acupuncturist through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice and certified in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). My Master’s Degree is in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN and I also have specialized training in Sports Acupuncture and Cosmetic Acupuncture.

I specialize in treating acute and chronic pain conditions, emotional issues, digestive complaints, women’s health and sports medicine. I have been fortunate enough to work with many NFL players using a self-developed protocol of acupuncture and cupping to help facilitate recovery and reduce the risk of injury.

My goal is provide you with drug-free, surgery-free options to improve the quality of your life. I’d love to hear from you and answer any questions you may have about how I can help you live a happier, healthier life. Contact me here.

Jake Morrow

Massage Therapist

Hello to all, I’m Jake.

I’ve come to Elliott Therapeutics with 15 years of massage therapy experience under my belt. Over the years, I’ve come to develop my own style of massage that is individually catered to you at that moment. I incorporate a blend of deep tissue, myofascial release, stretching and relaxation techniques to truly give you a one-of-a-kind experience.

My ability to customize each session allows client experiences to be different depending on what’s going on that day. Whether it’s sports related trauma, an old injury, mental/emotional discomfort or simply relaxation – I have the necessary tools to accommodate just about anything!

Along with bodywork I also love music, skateboarding, photography and nature.
